Stories and Reels: how each one counts

This is the rule that causes the most confusion, and the two formats differ significantly. Worth reading before you post.

📱 Story: a mention is enough

In a Story, simply mention @expertorbit. Nothing else is required. The mention generates an event that reaches us automatically, and the counter goes up.

🎬 Reel: the account must be TAGGED

In a Reel, you must tag the @expertorbit account in the post, using the Tag people option when publishing.

Writing @expertorbit in the caption does not count. This is not us being strict: the Instagram integration gives us the list of posts where the account was tagged, not the text of other people's captions. A handle in a caption simply never reaches us — there is nothing to verify.

Already posted a Reel without tagging? Edit the post and add the tag. It becomes valid from the next verification onward.

Cycle goals

• 10 stories in the cycle → your tier's story bonus;
• 3 reels in the cycle → your tier's reel bonus.

The dashboard counters show how far you are from each goal.

Two conditions that apply to both

• It has to be your handle. Only posts published by the handle you provided at enrollment count. Posted from another profile? It does not count;
• The account must be public at the time of verification.

Where to track it

In Creators, the Detected mentions block lists each identified post with its status: counted, repeated in the cycle, or not counted. If something you posted is missing, check the handle and the tag first.
