Data Deletion

Last updated: July 2026

You have the right to request the deletion of your data at any time, in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other applicable privacy laws. This page explains how to do this — whether you are an Orbit customer or someone who chatted with a company using the platform.

1. If you are an Orbit customer

You have two options:

  • Disconnect a channel:in Settings → Channels, click "Disconnect". The access token is deleted immediately and Orbit stops receiving or sending messages for that account.
  • Delete the entire account: use the form below or write to support.orbit@expertbr.com from your registered email.

2. If you chatted with a company that uses Orbit

In this case, the company you chatted with is the Data Controller of your data, and Orbit acts as the Data Processor (see the Privacy Policy, item 4). We recommend that you speak directly with them. Even so, you can use the form below: we will forward your request and remove the data under our custody.

To stop receiving automatic messages right now: reply STOP in the conversation itself. The effect is immediate.

3. If you removed Orbit through Meta's settings

When removing the app in Facebook or Instagram settings, Meta notifies us automatically and the request goes directly into our queue — you will receive a confirmation code on this same page.

4. Form

Check a request

Enter the tracking code you received when requesting the deletion. We only show the status of the request — no account data.

5. What gets deleted

  • Conversations, messages, media, and transcriptions;
  • Contact data (name, photo, identifiers);
  • Access tokens of connected accounts;
  • Settings, flows, and registration data (in the case of account deletion).

Timeframe: up to 7 business days. Deletion is irreversible — there is no recovery once completed.

6. What may be retained

Due to legal requirements, we may retain: access logs for security audits and data necessary for compliance with legal, regulatory obligations, or defense in legal proceedings. These records are isolated and are not used for any other purpose.

7. Contact

Data Protection Officer (DPO): support.orbit@expertbr.com — we respond within 15 days.
