Archiving, deleting conversations, and deleting contacts

Archive (reversible)

In the ⋯ menu at the top of the conversation, Archive chat removes it from the main list without losing anything. Archived conversations live in their own filter and come back on their own when the customer writes again.

Use it to clear the day's queue without erasing history.

Delete conversation (irreversible)

In the same menu, Delete chat removes the conversation and its entire message history. It asks for confirmation and cannot be undone. The contact still exists, with its tags and fields.

Delete contact (irreversible, cascading)

On the contact card, under Contacts, the Delete contact button erases the contact, its conversations, messages, tags, and custom fields. It is the most complete deletion and also cannot be undone.

If the customer writes again afterwards, a brand-new contact is created, with no history.

Deleting requires owner or admin permission in the workspace.
