The opt-out command

Any contact can switch off automated messages at any time. Orbit recognises four words to opt out and three to opt back in, in each language:

• To opt out: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, OPTOUT;
• To come back: START, RESUME, SUBSCRIBE.

The word must come alone or nearly so — up to 20 characters and at most 3 words. "STOP" switches it off; "I want to stop receiving this now" does not, on purpose: someone venting should not be removed by accident.

A contact in opt-out still shows in the Inbox and you can still reply manually — what stops is the automation. Orbit confirms in the conversation's language and tags the contact with "Opt-out".

Orbit also recognises the words in Portuguese, Spanish and French (SAIR, SALIR, ARRETER…), according to the language set on the channel.
