Bulk sending: reaching many contacts at once

Bulk sending delivers an approved template to several contacts at once, over WhatsApp. It is the natural replacement for broadcast lists — each person receives an individual message, without seeing the others.

⚠️ First things first: the cost

Each recipient is a charge from Meta. A broadcast to 500 contacts creates 500 charges, billed by Meta directly to your payment method. Orbit does not intermediate, pass through, or invoice these amounts — and support about them is with Meta.

That is why the screen shows the count prominently and requires you to type the number of recipients to confirm. It is not bureaucracy: it is so nobody sends by accident.

How it works

In Broadcasts → New broadcast, three steps:

1. Who will receive: filter by tag, search by name or phone, and check the contacts. Only WhatsApp contacts who have already messaged you appear;
2. Which template: pick from approved ones and set the source of each variable (fixed value, name, phone, or CRM field). The preview shows how it looks for the first selected contact;
3. Confirm: review the count and type the number to unlock sending.

Following along

The broadcast appears in the list with a progress bar, sent count, and failures. You can pause and resume at any time — or cancel, in which case messages not yet sent will not go out (nor be charged).

Sending is spaced on purpose: firing everything at once saturates the API and hurts delivery. Each sent message also appears in the contact's individual conversation in the Inbox.

Plan limits

• Free: no access;
• Start: up to 500 contacts per broadcast, 4 broadcasts per month;
• Pro: up to 5,000 per broadcast, 20 per month;
• Scale: no limit.

Usage rules

Bulk sending is for contacts who have already messaged you and for whom a legal basis to receive exists. Using purchased or third-party imported lists is forbidden — it violates our terms and Meta's policies, and drives down your number's quality rating (Meta reduces limits and may ban numbers with many blocks and reports).
