Visual editor: building flows with blocks

Besides the simple form, Orbit has a visual editor where you build the conversation by dragging blocks and connecting them — useful when the automation has more than one step.

The blocks

• Trigger — what starts it: a comment, a DM keyword, or a story reply;
• Text — a message;
• Media — image, video, audio, or document from your library;
• Button — a link button, or quick-reply options the customer taps;
• Condition — branches the flow by message text, contact tag, custom field, or time of day;
• Wait — pauses before the next step.

Getting started

Under Flows, use New flow to pick a ready-made template, or New visual flow to start from scratch. Any gallery template can be opened in the visual editor via View on canvas — a good way to understand the logic before building your own.

Details that matter

• A flow is created disabled: you review and enable it when ready;
• Each run counts as 1 automation, no matter how many blocks it has;
• Quick-reply buttons resume the flow at the exact point when the customer taps;
• Leaving with unsaved changes triggers a warning before closing.
